You would not beleive the issues we've had. Needless to say they will not be sending their £ 1500 demand.

I hope a few others benefit from this news.

I think that losing 10 per month out of 1.43 million per year does not really give everyone an excuse not to file their accounts on time.

Obviously you haven't had dealings with these people. Our accounts have been submitted on time with proof of postage for each set that was lost. The onus on us was for them to be sent on time which they were. A combination of the Royal Mail (how many items do they lose a month ?) and Companies House has left our company with a bill.

For an example the case officer I was dealing with even apologised for not replying to an important email trying to resolve the situation.

Why should private companies pay for the incompetience of their government ?
