Large laptop bag!

Hi all,

I use an external monitor with my laptop when at home and I find this helps a lot with productivity.

I am now thinking of taking my monitor out with me when working away to use with my Microsoft Surface Pro in hotels etc.

The problem I have come across is finding a big enough laptop bag to use to carry it!

It is a HP 21.5' screen and the stand it sits on comes off easy with one click so it can be flat when transporting it. It is just like the size and shape of a large laptop.

Does anyone know where I would find a large laptop case or similar to carry it in? Or anything similar I could use?

Apart from the monitor I am just looking to put the Surface Pro & some extras such as a small USB docking station, mouse, keyboard cables etc in it.

I've looked online but to no avail - can someone help???

P.S. on a side point, it got me thinking, what is the largest laptop you can buy? There must be, or have been, a large screen one built in the past - so there must be a case made also!!!

The bag that llocally recommended looks good.

But, don't you think carrying around a monitor will defeat the purpose of a 'portable' computer?

In my case, I would only plug the computer in the monitor when I am at home. When I am away, I would be using the 15 inch laptop.

But, if you spend most of your time away I guess it is just right to do so.

I'd consider a Pelican case, or similar product. They tend to come with foam inserts, so you can make cut outs and fit what you want inside.

They ain't cheap, but it'll protect your screen and anything else you're carrying. I've been thinking of getting one for my camera and laptop while travelling.
