Hi Guys
I'm not sure if this is the correct location for this post but I'll try here first
I have rejigged my menu structure in my Magento Website, and before I pull the trigger I want to make sure my SEO won't be affected, I have sorted all my category pages by using 301 redirects, but now I want to do the same with the products in the newly created/moved categories.
To narrow down my search for my top 500 landing pages so I can simply update these I have ran the Google Analytics Landing Page Reports what it is showing is this:
/bosch-pbs-60-slide-plate-1601098007-spare-part-type-0603275003.html
/bosch-arm-360-spare-parts-list-type-3-600-ha6-275.html
/bosch-gex-150-ac-spare-parts-list-type-0601372742.html
/bosch-pss-230-parts-set-1607000902-spare-part-type-0603254042.html
/bosch-asg-52-saw-chain-1607031144-spare-part-type-0600870042.html
/hitachi-c-8fse-table-insert-329421-spare-part.html
Does the "/" on these links mean that my customers are landing directly on my product pages and not coming in via category link. e.g.
/Bosch/Drills/Cordless/bosch-pbs-60-slide-plate-1601098007-spare-part-type-0603275003.html
I have looked at over 5000 of my landing pages and all are showing the
/bosch-pbs-60-slide-plate-1601098007-spare-part-type-0603275003.html
configuration so in my thinking I wouldn't need to bother with 301 redirects as they are going to straight to the products and not through a category.
Can someone please confirm this
