Label Printer advice?

Hi I'm looking for advise on printers, I'm looking for a printer able to create high quality bottle labels, I can't afford a massive factory style machine and its not very feasible to out source, does anyone know anything thats good for this?

We produce labels for shelf products and chilled products (no jokes Dawg) - what conditions will the end product be kept in and what will the adhesive be applied to?

Just shelf products, no idea adhesive wise at the moment

What quantity of labels you're after?

A good, digital printing machine will cost you several thousands of pounds - don't think it's a viable option unless you need large quantity of labels produced on regular basis.

Why not simply work with your local digital printer or find someone online?

Consumer printers (colour lasers) won't provide you the resolution/quality/gloss you're after.

The problem with out sourcing is that the labels are personalized and the quotes I'm getting for such short runs are a bit of a joke. I understand I may need to fork out a few thousand but in the long run I think its for the best. Saying that I don't have a very big budget at the moment
