Keyword help please

Im in the process of having a new site built and need help with keyword research. I use the adwords one but seen it slagged a little on here so wondering if people could point me to some good free tools

We have a free keyword tool

But I would recommend the Keyword Questions tool for content ideas, we've just improved it and added more functionality.

Whenever I'm stuck for a blog post topic it's always where I go to first.

And if you're stuck with the process we have a whole section on Keyword Research.

I never rated Wordtracker much. I've used Market Samurai before, not free - but you need a good k/w list

I just go with what i think people type in. Also start typing in the google search bar and when it trys to finish what your typing that gives you and indication what people search as long as it's not too niche.

Thw Wonder Wheel and the Tilde key can be useful forpart of the process with kw research too..

Edit: also recommend market samurai if you dont mind paying for something. Find it really useful.

We use Market Samurai. You can use the main keyword research tool free of charge. Just download it for trial use and that will give you the unpaid version. Just ignore when it says your trial has expired and select the unpaid version all the time.
