Hello

I just recently finishied my graduation and want to start up my own business - Any thing possible and my dream is to become a Reseller/ Middleman of big names like HP, Dell, Amazon and other ........

Is it really possible what i want to be - I am sure yes .

My ideas are to sell their products in Pakistan which is my second home and can do it easily - I really understand the local market over there but need some advice to getting on to the steps.

To arrange office, warehouse is not a big deal to me, all i want to know how can i approach these companies.... As somebody said you dont need Capital to start something but an a idea which matters, and i think i know there is a space to work on this in Pakistan and no one have done it before....

There is huge demands of Laptops, Computers and big westeren brands...

To make it easy for you to understand i could do that .

1) Make a online website where people can buy this big brands product and upon payments i can through their orders to the companies .. Basically i am in the middle who will be dealing with all these buying/selling- and off course when you become reseller you get that whole sale price so that is your profit what you get after your cost.

I have IT background and working as a IT Engineer with Siemens computing...

Kindly seriously advice me on that how can i achive this. Thanks in Advance.

Do you really seriously expect such big brand names to dropship single products at wholesale prices direct to you? Why would they when they can sell to well known retailers in huge quantities. To get wholesales prices you have to be buying in quantities, big quantities and either have money upfront or good credit, you have neither.

DREAM ON ALI

This is one of the most competitive markets in the world and whoever the 'somebody' was that told you that you don't need capital is a dreamer too. Forget it.

Now it seems from your posts that you are completely without direction. One minute you want to run a letting agency the next a barbers shop. Both are skilled jobs requiring experience.

You have to start thinking what doesn't require much experience. Where you 2nd language would prove useful. What would sell in Pakistan. I know of 2 things.

A few years ago I had cause to visit the Pakistan Embassy in London and after my meeting on the way out I was besieged by drivers asking if I could get hold of cheap 2nd hand Datsuns. Another had a brother in Pakistan and was looking for armoured bodywear like bullet proof vest which he would sell to wealthy businessmen.

In short all these guys seemed to be wheelers and dealers on one sort ot another.

Given that Pakistan is no less stable now I would have thought that the amoured bodywear might be a viable option and there is lots of it around as law enforcement especially in the USA upgrade all the time.

The bottom line then is do some research. Nip along to the Pakistan Embassy and have an informal chat with the drivers saying that you have contacts on everything from cars etc and ask what tey would be interested in. You well to them and you don't even have to bother with exporting.

Hope the info kelps.
