Joomla Or Wordpress Sites

Hi all,

Trying to make a decision on whether to use Wordpress or Joomla.

Can anyone give Great example websites off either Wordpress or Joomla??

For me personally WordPress all the way. Our on site is WordPress and alot of our clients.

It all come's down to your needs so what is the site in question and will you be building this yourself?

Wordpress imho, it's much more user friendly and easier to develop with BUT Joomla is better for the larger projects while WordPress is better for small blogs and websites.

Its down to personal preference, both can be tailored in a way that will deliver similar results with various plugins.

I used to create our sites in Joomla. Takes a while to really understand and learn the amount of features it has.

I changed to wordpress only a few months ago, firstly just as a simple blog site. The ease of use and the better way of updating plugins (joomla uses modules and components) made me change all out sites to wordpress.
