Hi there,
Just wondered if anyone might be able to shed some light on something for me!
I am just in the process of renting a small retail unit and have asked the Landlord for a breakdown of the rent. In it there is a charge for gas of £888.00 pa.
The unit is part of a building that is shared by other businesses and my part consists of 444 sq ft of retail space heated by two small radiators with the provision of hot water to a wash hand baisin and sink.
Basically because the building has one meter the gas is charged to all the occupiers at a rate of £2.00 per sq ft.
My gut feeling is that this charge is excessive but before I query it I wondered if anyone could offer any advice.
Thanks in advance,
Vicky
