No there isn’t.

My comment wasn’t intended to be sarcastic. Viewing any forum using an app still requires an internet connection.

It was total sarcasm, the question was "Is there an app I can use for the forums or is it just website only?"

You picked part the next line which explained why I was looking for an app, suppose if there's just troll replies better off not using the forums at all.

But your reason for using an app is you prefer this to using the internet. An app would still use the internet.

I sort of get what you mean, but you stated that you prefer an app to the Internet - and of course, it is not one or the other!

This forum is kind of OK-ish on a mobile and I must admit that it could be better, but no, there is no app.

Well joining this forum was a mistake.

I understood from your first post that you meant you prefer using an app to a browser. I'm sure everyone else did too and a simple yes or no would have answered your question.

I've been lurking for a while and only just joined. There are some great people on this forum that will provide really useful information, so try and stick it out. Just ignore the nonsense :)

It no longer exists

Be interested to see how you get permission from Sift to access and update the databases. In particular how you manage restricted content, payment and other functions.

    Of course not.

You need to contact SIFT and tell them what you propose.

Well I am definitely not a developer but I would have thought that the only app you could make is a READ ONLY app of some kind to allow you to read the permitted public posts.
If you want to be able to write posts, register, etc, you are going to need to be able to WRITE to the database and there is not a single professional website in the world that is going to allow you to do that because of the security risks involved. At best I would imagine they will make an API available if they have done them, but I doubt it.

As a developer, how did you think you were going to create an app for a website you did not own or have any backend access to?
