Is there a demand for social network marketing businesses?

Hi,

I'm presently doing some social network marketing for a family friends business, doing things like creating custom facebook fan pages, with custom tabs and images etc... but i was wondering if this alone could be run as a full-time business, or do web designer/web design company's do all this?

I do some basic web design as well and I feel i'm quite proficient using illustrator, photoshop, fireworks and dreamweaver, but Is the whole social network marketing market 'big'??

Any advice or answers to any of this would be greatly appreciated!

If you can do the actual marketing as well as just setting up profiles then there are people willing to pay.... same as any form of marketing.
