Is keywordspy worth the money?

I am thinking of subscribing to thier Professional Plan at $139.95 a month as it supports Yahoo and Bing because I am permanently banned from Adwords.

Or does anybody know another tool thats supports Yahoo and Bing?

Thanx

Ive took a look at it before.. But im a SEO guy so I dont really focus on that.. For that price im guessing you could get a decent agency to manage your PPC for you and on Adwords aswell.

Friends of mine have done testing with Yahoo & Bing. And didnt get much traffic becuase the traffic is so much lower than adwords.

Hi Chris

I've used keyword spy before - basically you end up with a massive spreadsheet full of search terms that your competitors are apparently appearing for.

The problem then comes, whereby you need to go through the whole list weeding out the rubbish trying to find odd keywords that you would like to appear for - its not as simple as uploading the whole lot into your PPC campaign and seeing what works as there will be many terms (including possible Adult oriented terms) that you would NOT want your ads appearing for - plus the CTR on your account as a whole could drop dramatically.

So, overall its a good tool for spotting terms that you've missed, BUT it requires a lot of work to sift through all the search terms

Is keywordspy worth the money?

The honest truth is that you will get nothing from Keywordspy that you can not get from another (free) keyword tool. It really is not worth your cash. as already suggested more than once, use your cash to find a good consultant and get yourself back on Google where the real money is!

Hope this helps!
