Is HKTDC a good alternative to Alibaba?

Hi this is my first post on this forum.

Having seen the above replies, I would like to add that most of the suppliers registered with HKTDC are HK companies. It is true that most of their factories are located in China but I guess it is safe to say you are less likely the get scams from them.
And if you check their website, you can see information of their exhibitions of different industries held each year and the suppliers that took part in are surely their members, which I find more reliable.

On the other hand, there are much more suppliers on Alibaba and you have more options, the prices are likely to be cheaper although I do believe the risk along is greater.

General speaking, HKTDC & Global Sources are more reliable than Alibaba, because the good verification and filter system setup a few years ago. But you can find a lot more suppliers on Alibaba, among them, many are genuine too.
