IRIS Pay and Kashflow

I use Kashflow as my bookkeeping software which is now part of IRIS

They are pushing a new payment processor IRIS Pay - https://help.iris.co.uk/accountancy/kashflow/sales/payments/landing-iris-pay.htm

Is anyone here using it and has any comments about it?

I wish we didn't use Kashflow accounting, been with them 10 years, too hard to change now. Waste of space. Crap features and reliability

Use Stripe for any adhoc payment processing, don't give Iris the business!

I've been with them longer than that and rarely had any problems (apart from the gradual price increases)

Only need and use the basic features though

Iris used to be good when they were a small company called Transaction technology (with a product called Iris) then they grew were bought by a VC and started trying to take over thw world buying up all sorts of professional services software suppliers. Somewhere along the line the bottomline began to matter more than the customer.

What started off as "we will offer a variety of upgrade paths for existing customers of companies we have bought" became "we will shoehorn those new customers into our straightjacket no matter what" and they lost most of their decent support staff. A lot of those staff now work for competitors or have started up in competition

Their online platform is a decade behind Quickbooks or Xero (online). If compared to professional cloud options like sage, oracle, then kashflow is like a children's toy.
