iPhone hangs

Maybe it’s just me but I struggle to get UKBF to load on my iPhone. It’s all good on a desktop PC and Mac. But on my phone it connects then hangs. I have to reload the site to get it to fully load.

Cleared cache and restarted the phone to no avail.

No problem on iPhone here. Loads fairly fast and navigation is good.

when the site does load it is very fast, it’s just getting connected. It’s as if it’s waiting for a script (of which there are many).

Safari on my phone.

Checked using brave and all good.

Checked on my wife’s iPhone using safari and it hangs.

So it seems to be a safari issue.

Never had that problem with Blackberry I used to gas on here all-day long with my PKB

iPhone and Safari here and no issues.

No issues here either, are you connected to house WIFI by any chance and issues lies there with connection

It seems that it’s virgin. Almost certainly a local cache.

Start charging your dns on the connection moving away from your default provider to Google 8888 and cloud flare 1111. This should mitigate your problem a bit.

I am aware of an issue with the site hanging when loading for the first time during a session. It's something that we've been able to replicate in the office pretty consistently.

It is on our radar but we've been hard at work on other aspects of the site. We're approaching the end of a large batch of work, so hopefully we'll have some time soon to look at QoL improvements to the site.
