IP companies

my patent application is going to run out in the next three months and i need to get a worldwide extension in place (PCT) as i have a signed license agreement with an American company. They will not share the patent costs, well they will but they want to change my royalty percentages. i'm getting quotes for circa £3500 which is far too much, does anyone know of a cheap reliable patent company? any advice would be greatly appreciated

yes i know fees are roughly £2000 so everything on top seems about right but i just cant get that money together, the bank is not interested with a license agreement so i'm between a rock and a hard place. no company will take installments and my first royalty is March 2010, time is running out though...

I'm no expert but looked into worldwide patents sometime ago. This requires registration in several separate jurisidctions and that fee sounds more than reasonable but I would question what worldwide means here. I'm certain that there is no such thing as a single worldwide registration so this fee must cover a particular number of jurisdictions but which ?
