Invoice factoring

Your own bank should be able to come to an arrangement for you on this.

I have seen it done only once, (RBS I think) with a small company that bought and installed a ££big piece of kit. I persume you are in a similar position.

As the purchaser in that instance, had i known we could have purchased the kit ourselves and just got them to install it.

It depends what the invoice is for, who your client is, and why you need the invoice finance. Is it because you are concerned about the client not paying you?

Or if it is for a one off large order that you will need finance to complete, then talk to your bank about different funding options. (I doubt they will recommend invoice finance by the way)

Your bankers may well extend your overdraft in order for you to complete your order or offer a short term loan.

Or alternatively talk to a commercial finance broker there are plenty on here nacfb.org.

Hope this helps.

None of the bank owned factoring companies would be interested in a proposal like this and unfortunately most of the major independenets wouldn't be either.

Try http://www.sales-101.co.uk/cash101 as that is what they specialize in

Thanks for this link. I will try them.

In response to others, its to help cashflow for larger projects where my larger customers pay basically when they feel like it.
