Hey im 21 complete newbie to posting, been a member on this forum for a while now, not posted anything just looked around.

I consider myself to be little entrepreneur wouldnt say major money making but its turned me over.

I've been looking at a little venture to buy for short time now! spent alot of time speaking to the owner and finding information out. I have received alot of documents from the seller including all sets of accounts, product details, etc.

I will put some details in short here as the business stands now:
The business is a e - commerce site.
Dropshipping model.
16 months trading history.
Its sells over 300 different types of aprons.
This website has received 25,712 organic visits in its first 12 months.

Turnover 2012 - £2,225.03
Total Net Profit 2012 - £912,26 (was last two months of the year)
Turnover 2013 - £7,648.61
Total Net Profit - £3,135.90
Jan 2014 Turnover - £383.88
Jan 2014 Net Profit - £157.39
Feb 2014 Turnover - 235.39
Feb 2014 Net Profit - £95.12 (so far)

Only costs are when you buy the product off the supplier and the hosting of the site costs at £10 a month.
Owner has basically abandoned the business but it is still turning over.

The owner wants to sell at £9500 due to other business interest. i think that's a over priced for only an year trading. There is one problem i only have £1100 cash and loans would wipe out profits unless i grew the business by at least 100%. I plan an offer between £4000 to £5000 but i would need to raise the cash. friends (typical lads, not like me) and family isnt a option as we are going through some difficult times with my sister being seriously ill.

My proposal would be to give 35% of the business a way to raise the cash to purchase the business. but the investor would be a silent partner and just wipe the rewards of the profits and plans i have for the business.

Other proposal would be for someone to loan me the cash on good but low APR, but on mixed monthly installments.

I have many plans to grow this business by at least 3x over, but just need the cash injection.
Ill stop talking now and let people attack my idea but at least i've tried and i wont give up to achieve my dreams. P.S i dont have long as there are other parties interested in the business.

Good for you in looking at becoming a serial entrepreneur, but based on the figures provided even if you could grow the business by 3 times it would only generate £10k of net profit a year.

Once you take into account the money you will need to take as a salary and the initial investment, is it really going to be worth all the hard work?

We can't blame you for asking but..

You are basically asking someone to buy a business for you - in return for which you will give them 35% of the business they have boughto_O

Being an entrereneur is about taking financial risk.. Either find a way to build your own business or go out and raise your own cash.
