Hi

What is the difference between investment and invested?

If i transfer the money into my company's business account; will that money become invested as it is no longer mine?

OR

Does it has to be used by the company in order for it to be considered as invested?

I hope some one experienced can clarify.

If you paid the money in as share capital thats an investment. If using the past tense, you invested it. You can also loan money to the company, which can be repaid to you whenever the company has sufficient funds, without any tax being due.

If i transfer the money to my business account as a director loan to the business - will that be considered as an investment into the business? The money is however held in the business account and not only the money is being used, only when it is needed the money is used.

A directors loan is not technically an investment, but it's how a lot of small companies are funded at the begining.
