Inventory Management System - Barcode & Bulk inventory input

Hi,

I am hoping some can provide me some assistance with my problem.

I have been looking for an inventory management system for over a week now and can't seem to find a system that has all the features that I want.

I am looking for a system that I can download onto my PC which I need to only make a one off payment for. The system should be able to hold data from more that one location. I don't want to do anything like remote desktop, meaning that I have the system on one PC and all the other PC's will remote desktop onto it to access the system and have all the information centralized. Maybe something like having all the the PC's have the same software downloaded and through the internet the information can be shared and updated in real-time.

The other feature is that I would like the system to accept bulk information sent from a bluetooth barcode scanner. By bulk information, what I mean is when for example I receive a delivery of ten different boxes. I should be able to scan each box one after another while coming in and the system should be able to add everything on one page for deliveries I have received. It should tally up the same item rather than add them separately. I should be able to do this whether it is for a delivery I am receiving or a customer purchase.

I am willing to also consider a cloud based system even if it is a monthly payment system as a last resort.

Do you mean more than one stock location i.e multi warehouse?

Would you need to know how many items are in a box? Or do you simply want to log that a 'box' has been delivered?

Yes I meant multi warehouse.

The boxes vary from containing single items to multiple and mixed items. So what that means is each box will be opened to verify it's contents and the items will be scanned individually.

What existing platform are you running on? Do you have any stock control in place currently?

I currently do not have anything in place. It's all from memory and hand written logs. I have tried software like inFlow but it doesn't fulfill my needs.

I can start on any suitable software fresh as I do not need to transfer or import any data.

Are you a wholesaler or retailer? How many orders a day are you processing?

I am a retailer. I/we process between 1-10 sales a day due to the the nature and cost of the the items. There are over 1000 products that I sell of which some get discontinued and new products are added to the product line.

A mobile app is not something that I want. I need the software to be on a PC as I will be doing all my work on a PC. I have reviewed many on the first couple of pages on Google but they did not fit my needs.

From what I have read on the Rapidnav website, it seems to be what I am looking for but is there not a cheaper option for my needs? Like £50 a month or a one off payment for about £800.

If I have read and understood it correctly it is £99.99 mp. They have four packages and package 3 looks like it meets my needs but it has yet to be tested. Not sure if VAT is added though.

So just to clarify on what you are looking for

* Multiwarehouse stock inventory system
* Scan item barcode to add it to stock (single item at a time)
* Multi user

How do you process your orders, does that need to take place on the same system?

I only ever talk 'cloud', so you will be talking monthly payments, but here are a few inventory systems (or systems that handle inventory) unleashed is probably the best, but at £105/month for unlimited warehouses it maybe too much for you
