The previous tenants have ripped out the alarm system and taken it with them! How much does it cost to install a new one, got a front door and a fire exit door to protect. Its a small shop on the mail street.

You need to get a quote from someone local to you...

We cover Manchester and much of the NW if you're in the area...

If it's just a bog standard system, nothing fancy then you're looking at a rough estimate of £500 ish... shouldn't be anymore than that TBH either wired or wireless.

If you want it connected to a call station then there's obviously more cost involved.

Nobody would go to such lengths to make a profit.

@Haunted Worlds will gladly sell them back to the OP. Plus installation costs, of course!

I've never stolen anything in my life thank you very much :D :D

We had a camera stolen once too... it was amazing... the guy actually filmed himself, looking into the camera while he unscrewed it from the wall... then climbed down and bent the windscreen wiper on the van...

Best bit was... despite him hiding his face, we actually knew who it was! It was an engineer that had walked out on the company some 4 years previously who was still being chased by debt collectors... by our company :D :D :D

Even the local bobbies who came in watched the video of him removing the camera, then looked at photo's of him and went...

Yup it's definitely him :D :D

He didn't mentioned the fact they broke in a couple of days later and stole all the computers, printers, servers, etc. knowing they wouldn't get caught on camera :)

They weren't connected to anything at the time (they are now, in case anyone's reading this....). We figured they were used for a new customer by someone. We didn't notice for months - by chance I'd taken some photos of the building a while before and they weren't on those!

We had someone last week taking a cr4p in one of our lifts.

They came back 30 mins later and started apologising and waving to the camera. They then proceeded to remove the carpet from the lift. 2 hours later they came back, apologising to the camera again and put the carpet back.

Presumably they took it home and gave it a good clean.
