Hi Thanks for the reply,
There are 2 questions out at the moment
1. Looking at Networking with light freight companies or small business who wish to use my location as a distribution hub,as i now have space available

2.as a side line i have been running a cash 4 clothes set up, i have been going through another company to pass on items but gaining little in the way of revenue. so with the stock building up i am looking to going for a main company to ship items onto there final destination ie main dealer but not knowing who to go to other than other cash for clothes outlets, so looking for any assistance in how i go about it and maybe who to contact

Have you tried your local chamber of commerce? Perhaps the associations or freight clubs may be helpful here. You may want to google the company's names and find out their's CEOs' and Sales Managers' twitter/linkedin accounts to see who they follow - there may be clubs there're going to or different events that they really like (also an amazing conversation starter, so do your homework!)

You can also use Facebook dark posts or LinkedIn targeted posts to target this specific group of people, but this will be selling rather than networking.

Again, my advice would be local networking groups - maybe you will not find the direct representatives there, but at least people who know them or will point you in the right direction. Also, searching for clothing outlets and discount stores online would be helpful, with looking up their decisionmakers and trying to meet with them to arrange a contract or get a lead to another person.

Just forget not to give up and try to use leads from other people to get to the person you want to speak to.

Lastly, you can always do some useful cold calling, like this guy :) -
