I'm curious about legalities of running a skill based competition (from the UK) that, although dodges gambling licencing in this country might (and probably won't) in other countries. I can't quite find any solid information.
Granted, there's probably weird loop holes and crazy red tape for each specific country but looking at things purely from the side of the fence of the company running them, is it a legal mind field and not worth the effort or does it not matter and the risk lies completely on the person entering?
Please go easy on me, I'm not looking for a debate about how ethical things like these online car competitions are or anything.
