Hi all,

Does anyone know of a payment module that allows the customer to remain on yoursite, rather than forwarded to the merchant and then returned back?

I see there is paypal pro, but this appears to only be available to the USA

Is there a uk equivalent?

Is there any particular reason why you want to keep the customer on your site, as in most cases the customer will be unaware they have been redirected to a payment portal (and back to your site), and the process should be fully transparent to them.

Not to denigrate the previous post in any way, but Paypal Pro is available in the UK - I set a client up on it last year. Fairly sure one of the Sagepay offerings allow this as well.

Bear in mind that if you host the payment pages yourself the site falls under PCI compliance governance, since your site is passing the card numbers to the payment gateway.

... you can accept payments using an iFrame connection to PayPal which reduces your PCI compliance needs. I've used it for months and im very happy with the service provided by everyone at PayPal.

Agreed, however far higher gateway and merchant fees and lousy Customer Service..

Also a nasty habit of freezing accounts, introducing rolling settlement delays, and all with out explanation, even if you have run an account impeccably.

You pays your money and takes your choice !

I'd go for PayPal. Even though the fees may be slightly higher (although I personally see them as being competitive), they've become something of a household name and are trusted by customers.
