Insurance for Sole Trader

Hi,

I'm going to be starting a new business in addition to the one which I already run. My question is can I as a sole trader get Public Liability Insurance to cover two or more businesses or would I require a separate policy for each venture. Both ventures have a slight link being around photography.

As a sole trader you are really only one business oprating in multiple areas.
When I took mine out there was a option to select the main area of work, and then another option to select a second area of work.

Yes, but to make sure it's done right speak to an insurance broker

I would have a look at the FSB as they offer a lot of cover as part of the overall package.
