Hello again,
I hope your all keeping well.
I am further along in setting up my business and have come to the crossroads which is insurance.
As a beauty beauty therapist I always had public liability insurance.
Now I am setting up a new business selling eco friendly products made in the UK I am unclear as to which insurance I need.
When I have got in touch with potential suppliers about weather they are covered if someone has some kind of a reaction they have gone quiet on me. Im just trying to figure out what I would do in such a scenario.
I spoke to an insurance provider and they suggested I try and get in touch with suppliers again and ask if they have a hold harmless agreement in place, which is supposed to mean I would go back to them if this unlikely even happened. Im guessing thats why they have gone quiet on me.
Im feeling a bit down beat now because I want to do this properly.
One of my supplier has got back to me and said that there insurance only covers them for end users. ( They are a wholesaler who also sell to public and the product is manufactured by someone else).
Does this mean in the unlikely event that someone had a reaction I would bypass them and go to the manufacturer?
Am I reading to deep into all this now?
Any advise would be much appreciated.
Stay safe
