Not long ago i checked my business Instagram to check how many new followers i had, make some interactions etc. To be notified it had been disabled due to violating some of the terms.
I cant deny i may have broken a few rules such as uploading some GIFs which were not my own content, but i thought it was worth a try to appeal this. But the form i had to fill in to appeal seemed to be engineered to simply not proceed to the next step. Very frustrating.
I decided i may as well create a new Instagram account and be extra careful to not step out of line with any rules.
In order to activate the 'Instagram business account' i had to link my facebook page to my Instagram, but get this message:
'Facebook page already linked to Instagram account' ie. the disabled one.
For those that may not know, Facebook owns Instagram. In order to make sponsered/featured ads on Instagram you do it through the facebook Ad Manager. So i dont know how i can begin promoting my brand through instagram without being able to link my Instagram to my Facebook...
I thought maybe i could create another business page on facebook and link that instead. But, completely unsure if this will solve it or possibly cause my original, my new or both business pages to become disabled by the algorithms.
It's really important to me to get this resolved, but im fairly inexperienced with the ins and outs of social media platforms and marketing so would really appreciate any advice
