Inpost and mobile phones

Is it the case that the recipient, of an Inpost parcel, must have a mobile phone?

According to their website you need the app to unlock the locker. So yes you do.

Ah yes, consult the website, should I have thought of that for myself

But thanks for the confirmation, it's what I thought

One wonders if this requirement is always made clear, to the prospective recipient

People are accustomed to the Amazon and to the eBay procedures, no phone needed

This may be a factor in the long-running no-empty-locker problem

Or is a mobile phone a necessity, to request delivery to an Inpost locker?

Inpost is a nice idea, but it needs more work

Don't be so sure you don't need a phone for say the likes of Amazon sometimes they have to send you a security code (OTPs) before handing over said items
