Increasing users trust?

Are there any logo's i can put on my site to show it is a trusted shop and increase users trust but for little cost? or are there any main logo's that get the most trust and increase conversion rate?

There are certain logos available by companies offering services to certify your website against DDOS attacks, anti spam, hacker safe, virus safe and etc...

I always find that these logo's tend to bring a large amount of trouble with them, specially those hacker safe ones - it just inspires some little runt to try crack your system to just say "Thought you we're hacker safe? l00ser!"

Ha ha, yeah I've heard this happens also with and people were actually targeting the mcafee sites. Bt at the same time i've heard that conversion rates rise with these types of verification too, is this true, and is there anything else i can use instead?

Trust is earned through networking these days; not the use of third-party logos.

I do see what you mean though. Have you tried some kind of endorsement or sponsorship by a well-known brand?
