Pls consider to import from China. You can find quality shirts/clothes here and just ask the manufacturers to make the clothes according to your design. Many world brands are made in Guangdong, China, such as CK, D&G, Tommy, R/L, etc. If you need more information, pls email me.

Good Computers

From what it depends ?

I asking because I found many companies with very good price (in China, Italy, Germany etc.), but I don't believe in price lower about 50-60% than on retail market...

Maybe can You say something about that ?

Looks like someone has gained something here after all!
As for me importing from China, I am certain there are restrictions in place now. Also it is a bit far for me to travel to see samples?
I was thinking maybe a bit closer to home maybe.

Michael, are there not strict tarrifs concerning importing clothing from China to the UK?

I ask because a friend of mine exports from China to Eastern Europe and he mentioned this to me.

For some items within the textile product category, you have to get the export quota before you export them from China to European countries. But you can "buy" these quotas from some state-owned textile export companies in China, or they will handle the export procedures for you, including the quota.

Actually, many European or US enterprises are doing this. It's not too difficult. I think it's cheaper than buying from local European countries. Of course, doing this for the first time seems to be complicated. But it's worthwhile to spend some effort in trying this because you can gain cost advantage from it.

Hey,

Well imports is my forte, its what I do day in day out, I am Birmingham (UK) based and have offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

If anyone wants to import goods but dosent want to travel or deal with people they dont know, come and have a cup of tea with me, ive got tonnes of catalogues for products as diverse as computer goods, hardware, childrens clothing, sony ps3, anything and everything within reason.

If you want samples you dont have to leave the UK, tell me what you want, or better still find what you want, let me have the contact details and il get my guys to go and meet the supplier, collect samples, arrange for payment and bring them into the UK.

I have existing supply chains running out of HK and China and can move goods that are ready for export into the UK in 24 hours *that is NOT using express carriers* but rather my own account with the likes of BA world cargo, cathay, china airlines.

If anyone want any info then give me a shout and il help as best I can.

Best Regards

Khalid

Hi Neil,

Thanks for the info.

I wonder do you have warehousing, offices and running supply chains in Hong Kong or China, if you do maybe we can do something together in the future to lower costs.

My family have been operating in Hong Kong for over 70 years so ive got HK and China wrapped up pretty well.

I noticed on this thread that somebody asked about LCD and Plasma's well here a shocker for you, I can get them cheaper here in the UK than in China!!!

Unless you are going to buy 10containers at once you wont get a better price.

Where are you based Neil? do you have a showroom of the goods that you have imported or any catalogues/samples for people to look at?

Best Regards

Khalid

Dear Khalid, yes I do have agents in the Far East whom we work with, all of which have warehousing available.

As far as the LCd TV's are concerned, Im very good friends with the chairman of a large LCD TV manufacturer. I occasionally buy them to sell on at profit. For example at the moment I have 600 x 40' HD LCD TVs for £460 per unit!!!

Hi John, I can certainly help you with this. There is a couple of things i need to know however.

Where are the goods located in California? (need address and ZIP code)
Would you like me to arrange packaging or will the load point perform this task?
Lastly, the rate you require, is this door-door?

Let me know and i'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks John.
