Importing from Kenya

Hello, this is my first post, so please excuse anything that has been covered before.

I am planning on importing small parcels from Kenya, it is basically textile products each item with a value of about 500 Kenya Shillings which is roughly £4.50.

I would only want to import about £50 worth of stuff at a time with it hopefully increasing as time goes on.

I basically want to know where I can find out about tax for importing commercial goods. Would something of such low cost be worth it?

And finally does anyone know of a reliable postal service from Kenya to the UK.

According to me Kenya is not such a big country to generate so much big amount of revenue for a new entrant specially in textile sector. If you want to be a progress in this regard you have to keep patience for making progress as you demand. One more thing you can do is that, you have to switch your business from Kenya to any other country to grow up more your business as you want or where you wanna see to your business.
