I recently had to move back to Australia after a short stint in the uk. While in the uk I set up a business to conduct contracting services from. However, due patly to my own neglect and partly due to other reasons I am about 6 months late submitting my corporation tax. As a result my business has been struck off.
I am now wondering what my best course of action is. The end result is that my company has been dissolved which I wanted but is there any other consequences? I have had the money that was in my bank account taken away but the amount was probably about the same as the amount that was due in taxes and late fees etc.
Should I try and reinstate the business with the sole intent of settling my taxes and then dissolving the business again or should I just leave it as is?
Any help is much appreciated.
