Images in posts

The image uploader seems to have gone missing when replying to posts. And I can't drag and drop images anymore.

Uploading images is disabled for most membership groups if I recall correctly. Thought mods could, but obviously not and will need to double check that.

Except for the link to YouTube, yes that is almost correct. Free members are unable to upload images into posts.

Seems you can add an image as long as it's a linked image.

There always used to be an image icon you clicked on to add the URL. That's gone unless you are creating a thread.

Ok it's the editor menu that's lost the tools not the permissions itself in this case (this forum here for support should allow image uploading anyway for members to screenshot and share any issues)

If you paste the whole url it gets converted to a link.

Thanks @fisicx I did do that but you used to click on an icon first and I was just wondering whether it had been removed for free members

I've found where the menu in this editor is controlled now so looks like that's the main reason buttons have disappeared. Not going to play on a Sunday but will add it for one of my colleagues to standardise across the 3x editor configurations.
