Image insert

In the general forum I don't seem to be getting the option to insert image by dropping it into the message. I only get the link insert option. Strangely enough in this thread I do get the option. Any reason for this?

Yes @RevoMark easy explanation.
I don't want images uploaded on the site or embedded into posts, but I do allow it in this area as it may help with support / help posts to show an issue a member needs help with.

OK understood. Pity as I had a great example of some clever branding and marketing by a multinational but it needed an image otherwise would not make sense.

Upload the image to an image sharing site or even your own site. Paste the url and the forum software will unfurl it for you
