I have debts and have no chance of getting a loan for start up the business and make 100% guaranteed profit for clear my debts and start grow my business.

The question is, Is there a place where you can obtain investors who invest money (like from £10 to £500) in my idea and I will return with a % on the top, like loan, the amount of money fits in any, because idea is based on the purchase of goods and then resell.

Thank you very much.

There are people who do this kind of thing. They will want some security, though, and some say in your business.

However, if you only need £500, a credit card or bank overdraft might be better, more flexible, and easier to get.

Thank you but I'm a father of three daughters who works full-time and already tired of living from salary to salary. I already using my overdraft and small loans in order to survive and feed my family. My situation I think luck can help, or some good idea, I hope here I will find good solution :)

How much are you actually looking for?
What would you do with it?
What happens in the business fails?
I'm looking for any amount, can be small and step by step grow up.

I will buy from warehouses items, some warehouse are based in UK and also some very cheap but quality stuff from China. 3 years ago I was start help my friend start do the same kind staff business and we had so much wrong investments in goods, so now I know how do good research for every stuff before buy, I was learn for mistakes.

This kind business can fail if only I will stop working, this business is based on hard working. Peoples always will buy some items immediately or some later, each product always find buyer just need time and correct price. Thank you

So, you don't actually need to borrow any money then, you can start with just one or two items, sell those and use the profits to buy more.

1000's of people are doing exactly this on eBay every day, and many of them don't make any money, because they sell too cheaply and buy the wrong products - as you found out yourself.

You say you wont quit, but you did 3 years ago, why is this different?

This kind of business will fail if you buy and sell at the wrong prices. The idea that each product always finds a buyer, just needs time and correct price is true. But, if you have bought a product for £100 and after keeping it in stock for 6 years you can only find a buyer who will pay £50, the business will fail.

And how will you repay the people who invest if you don't make money or make a loss? It's naive to think that you can make money on everything you buy and sell, you have to make allowances for the fact that some items wont sell quickly and some not at all.

As you're already struggling, apparently, at the moment and have overdrafts and loans, asking people to lend you more money doesn't seem like the most sensible option. Clear your debts first, get yourself on a firm financial footing, then maybe you could look at borrowing money to finance your business.

Dropsshiping have very long shippings and lots of customers that don't like wait.

You do realise that 90%+ of UK bathroom fixtures are drop-shipped (including those from the most expensive and highly profitable, per item, brands)....?

Drop-shipping from China is ridiculous due to the lag, but from UK and even other EU suppliers, it can be acceptable, depending on the item/cost/timescales.

Holding inventory is a great way to tie up your money in stock and watch it wither as your warehouse cost + rates eat you alive.

Luck and hope are never good business plans...

If you can't find £500 without borrowing, I'd be dubious you will be successful at business...

Look around your house and sell anything you aren't using to raise some money.

Look around for things that could help you start a simple business. e.g. bucket and squeegee for window cleaning, car washing (not so good at this time of year!), maybe gutter clearing, snow clearing (if we get any)... How about offering a service setting up Christmas displays. I'm sure some small retailers would take you up on it... albeit you're probably a little late for that one this year...

I wouldn't invest even £10 in someone else's idea. Far too many dreamers out there...

Lots of simple ways to raise a few hundred quid.

    This is harsh.

But completely, and absolutely, the truth.

Think about the resources you already have. You have friends which owe you favours it would seem. That could be a resource. Have you got an old out building that you are not using? Have you got a hobby? If you have, you could have specialist knowledge of a niche market.

In other words if you think of capital as just more than money and think of it as all the resources you have, then you have something on which to build a business and might not need to borrow money.
