Idea

I am 19 yo, and I have an idea that is fairly theoretical at the moment and I was hoping for some opinions on it.

Fundamentally I see a gap for SMEs where organisations like the FSB do not cater - the application of creating a inter dependant network between these small businesses ( yes this is very hazy but bare with me ;))

At the moment I am launching a voucher scheme (run of the mill) but my twist is that I get discounts/ offers from local SMEs and they pay nothing - the money as it were is coming from who I sell them to. I plan on a selling them to medium to large employers who want fulfill CSR policies that are all the rage; after all a happy employee = more productive etc etc. In my city we have the UKs largest Siemens plant as well as a number of other fair sized organisations.

The benefit of this scheme is that t gives me a very wide reaching network.

I would really appreciate opinions on the voucher scheme, the massively theoretical idea and or anything else! If you want to message me privately and discuss anything else please do.

Thanks in advanced

Hi WillNut

You're idea is a little hazy to me at the moment as well, but I did pick up on the interdependent idea for small businesses. Which I think is an excellent idea.

I've been brainstorming, with myself, an idea for bring small businesses together to form 'micro connections'. To help them find ways they can promote their businesses by working together and bouncing of each others strategies.

Am I understanding correctly that your idea is to encourage larger organisations to use the services of smaller ones? Sounds good.

The more power we can give to small business, the better.

Keep flushing out the idea, and please post back.

Good luck

Josette
