I have 2 domains of same name.....

one .co.uk and the the other .com

I have my site built for .com and i don't really intend to use co.uk, just registered the Domain to prevent others using it.
Should i do anything with it tho? put up a page and 301 redirect to the .com site?

You could Have a blog on the other domain with links to your main site, should be good for SEO and keeping visitors interested as well.

Thanks all for responding

This may sound naive questioning, but would the general consensus be better to utilise the .co.uk as a blog etc over a 301 re-direct. It appears obvious to utilise it rather than a 301 re-direct but just wondering if i've missed something.
My target market is global rather than national

Use the .com as your main domain in this case and place a 301 redirect from your .co.uk to your .com.

If you have a concentration of target clients in a certain area e.g. North Amercia, host your site in the US, and vice versa for Europe etc.

thanks ronnie.

my site is already hosted on US servers, but why re-direct and not utilize .co.uk as a blog and link? as already suggested
