Anyone know of anyone offering UK hosting with hsphere control panel. I am looking to host 6 wordpress sites, low bandwidth for less than £100pa.

It HAS to be hsphere so please don't recommend unless it is. Otherwise I shall have to host in the US.

Why hsphere? Because I've used it for the past 12 years and I like it! I currently have a couple of sites on plesk and I still prefer hsphere

Hsphere was on the doldrums for a few years but recently Parallels have put some work back into it hence my wish to return.

For example you can do 301 redirect from the cp rather than htaccess, use in the inbuilt FTP facility and so on......

cPanel is by far the best control panel - I would strongly urge you to reconsider. I can understand why you prefer it to Plesk of course - but that's like comparing iron to tin, rather than looking to gold :)

It's not just the frontend appearance and features (which cPanel wins hands-down anyway), it's the management of the server, support team responses, urgent patches which are always issued promptly, etc. cPanel is a great 'system' all round :)

Agree wholeheartedly with Dominic, I can't imagine effectively managing a server without cPanel nowadays, it simplifies every stage of hosting and for dedicated servers etc is extremely customisable.

There are some cPanel demoes at this link -: http://www.cpanel.net/products/cpanelwhm/try-demo.html

Its pretty easy to understand from the start aswell, but obviously there are some incredibly advanced tools as well!

Just my 2p!

Thinking about, i've not used plesk for years! Shows how used to a solution you get! Do honestly think cPanel makes things easy from a user and sysadmin perspective though!

We even have it installed on our development servers.

In answer to the OP there is Hsphere hosting out there, but i'd seriously consider the alternatives before you set your heart on it! I suppose it makes a different if you are JUST looking to host your own websites or you are hosting them for clients and give them access, and the level of hosting you require, whether it shared, virtual private server or dedicated.

Shared services, depending on the host can sometimes be incredibly over subscribed and can cause performance issues during peak periods, whereas dedicated servers, unless you get a managed service do take extra time to manage and configure, but obviously you get the benefit of a dedicated pipe and processing power!
