how to sign a document using an app?

Is there any legal way a person can fill in a form on an app and sign it so it's a legal document? I'm aware you can digitally sign certain documents but I'm looking for something similar. Would a selfie photo added to the document be enough?

sorry needs to be doe within the app without having to print anything. may as well send them an email if that was a solution.
