How to set up a UK subsidiary?

Hello, everyone. This is the first time I've been here.

Now, I have an Irish company and I want to start my business in th UK. I was told that by UK law I have to set up a UK sbusidiary or oversea branch beforehand, then I have the right to start the business.

But how can I do this? Thank you in advance!

What does your company do? as this might be for alot of reasons why they have said this.
