How to save PowerPoint as PDF without losing quality?

Hi all,

Trying to convert a PPT file to hi res PDF, and I've tried maximising print quality as per suggestions found on Google, but it's still really pixellated and corrupting some of the artwork.

Please can anyone help?

Best regards,

Simon

Then your PDF printer is not set up properly.

Go to the Adobe website, register as a user and download Acrobat Pro in CS2. You will find it under 'Other Downloads'. It has a proper 'Pre-Flight-Check' that will guide you through the process.

I had similar issue on Friday. The .pdf didn't look too bad but i wanted to upload it into SlideShare and then the text went all pixelated. The solution I found was to edit the ppt and select each bit of text and then "save as picture" and insert the picture of the text back into the presentation. It was a bit long winded to do retrospectively. I think it depended on what fonts were used.

That's a good idea; the only reason I'm trying to make a PDF version of this PPT is because our font isn't supported on MacBooks, and so our font is substituted with Times New Roman. Thanks, will give this a try.

Thanks, will give this a go. Not too keen on SlideShare as it seems to mess up all of the formatting and transitions disappear.
