How to remove myself as a director

I would usually instruct my accountant, but how would I remove myself as a director of my company.

I am one of two directors and shareholders do I need to write a letter of resignation or can I just remove myself?

It's not a good idea to keep starting new threads as people need to answer your question in context with your whole situation.

It is a simple enough matter to resign as a director but whether that is in your best interests in the light of your other questions is a moot point
