Hello!

I have just started to promote our new business.Would really appreciate all advices about marketing and sales!
We are plywood suppliers from Russia. Our potentional clients are from USA. We deal with all the translation issues, help you to negotiate contract terms and organize transportation of the product to its destination for you.

I have already started ads in Google, have made few free posts on some websites like Medium.com and Instructubles to get trust links to our website.
What else could be done to reach potetional clients and start to grow in Google search?

Thanks in advance

Hi Olivia

Have you tried asking on US rather than UK business forum?.

You could also engage a marketing freelance based in the US who works with your target client group and your sector to help you identify the best marketing channels for you to use.

Yes, I have tried. And still doing it. The problem is, that out target clients are very specific and ordinary channels like content marketing, smm and etc( if I am not mistaken) are not that useful for them.

Thank you very much!
I have one question, do you think is it ok to find lumber yard managers on Linkedin?

Yeah, grab a service like skrapp.io or similar, get a premium account on LinkedIn and it'll pull 500 to 1000 contacts per day (using advanced search criteria), saving those with email addresses (probably 300-600) into a folder, which you can then download as an Excel sheet, which you can then use with an email service provider like SendGrid or the like.

Please note that I cannot comment on whether this is consistent with the LinkedIn terms of service - only that I have known companies that have used this approach with great success in the past.

I would recommend that before you email a list built like this that you run the emails through a service that verifies and validates (cleanses) the list - leaving out the ones which are undeliverable, known honeypots, etc. By doing so, you'll up your delivery rates to 99%'ish and thus keeping your sender score at maximum, which makes sure your email gets delivered rather than blocked by ISP's.
