@Pish_Pash is right - ass pictures will help, but I'm not sure that's the sort of traffic you want?

It could be the amount of time the url has been around and gained strength, it could have a low bounce rate, it could be well seo optimised behind the scenes - it could be a wide number of things.

Sadly this is something I often come across;

Caller: How can I get my website higher, what can you do?

Me: We can put some blogs on your website of things people look for, update the content throughout your website and give you more content to share and link people back to your website through social media.

Caller: But A B C doesn't do that

Me: fine - then why ask me for advice when you don't care what I say anyway?

lol - clearly I don't say that to the person, but that's kind of what happens - you're asking an expert for advice (your web guy) and then ignoring what they tell you because you feel you know best.

This isn't meant in a rude way and you're certainly not alone in doing this.

Low Cost Sourcing

Firstly, I would actually buy the domain name dreamenviro.co.uk as you do not actually own it. I could buy it now if I wanted to so not sure why you are saying that is your website?

In respect of your competitors website, what keywords is it ranking for #1 on Google? If it is just "north county pest control" then this is because all those words are in their domain name, the domain has some age and no other websites seem to have a similar domain.

Optimize your site for the target audience and this is by providing information that will be answering their needs and expectations for the respected field. Make your site interesting and beneficial to them.

Step 1: Determine what keywords you want to target.

Step 2: Register the site with Google Search Console, and with Google Analytics. The two steps are critical, as both will give you important information about the performance of your site.

    Step 3: Install Yoast SEO

Step 4: Optimise your homepage for your target keyword (i.e a green light) in Yoast

Step 5: Setup (properly) a Twitter, Facebook and Google My Business listing, and link your website to these (also using Yoast). Ensure on each of these you have your business address.

Step 6: List yourself in some high quality business directories....again using the same business address.

Step 7 - infinity..... read read and read. Continue to optimise the site, the inner pages, build citations and improve the bounce rate/conversion rate of the site by monitoring closely in Google Analytics.

P.S Was going to take a look at your site but it appears to be offline.

    Hope that helps.
