hello

Hope this is the right place of the forum to post this

We are a manchester based pest control company and we are offering a great deal on our pest prevention and control service agreements

Now over the past few months we have sent out over 3000 flyers with a small conversion rate not that great really

We have also been testing telesales the results are going well so far but we are playing around with different b2b data lists but to early to say how's it going

Now what else can we do to gain more customers we do have website which has a good online presence

Some help would be great

Google ads are great, if done correctly, but it is easy to make a costly mistake. SEO is very important for website, but start searching for customers online first. Where do they go when looking for advice about the pests? Support forums? Join these forums and give advice, with a link to your serices in a footnote - don't just plug in your link anywhere, or you will get ignored sooner or later. Just give them useful information, and they will seek out your details. Sell on ebay / amazon? Research which local areas in your region are badly affected by the pests, and get your leaflets through the doors, or phone direct. Good luck :)

Some great ideas posted above, so I won't repeat what they've said. But Facebook has some great local groups for businesses. People looking for Window Cleaners, Car Cleaners, Pest Control, Painters, Plumbers etc.

I haven't seen that many Pest Control companies in these groups so the competition my not be that fierce! But a lot of the companies posting in these groups seem to receive a warm reception.

Who is your primary target market - domestic or commercial? If the latter, an email campaign aimed at the right sector could be very effective. Backed up with telesales too, following up on opens/clicks etc, it could work very well.
