How to get better seller support from Amazon?

I was just wondering if anyone has any tips of tricks of how to get through to someone at Amazon that at least speaks English as their first language?

We get 500-1000 orders every day through Amazon, but it's still impossible to speak to anyone that even understands what I'm saying. I often have to call them about issues that could affect our entire selling account (so we're talking a matter of thousands in revenue per day), but Amazon can't provide someone to speak with about this? It's completely futile speaking with their Asian people about anything of importance. There has to be a way around this...

You are a bigger fish than I, but I've found a good place to go is the seller forums. They have amazon reps there who often read, respond, and investigate issues sellers have if they can. You can also message them personally.

I had an issue which was going on for months and months, but one quick post on the seller forum had it solved in 10 mins!

Other than that, I've heard you can email the managing directors office to escalate issues. There are mixed responses as to how beneficial that is. I can't remember the email address, but again, if you go on the seller forums you most people are quick to quote it.

Best of luck!

I hear ya.

My heart always sags when I hear that pre-recorded woeful heavy accented foreign female voice at the beginning of the Amazon support phone call.

Support seems completely random depending on how clearly the support person speaks (a lot of this stuff is quite detailed/nuanced & therefore needs someone very fluent without a heavy accent).

I just stay away from the phone lines *unless* it's screamingly important & just raise an electronic case instead.

One thing I've noticed (by accident) is that when I've inadvertently had the wrong marketplace selected when raising a support ticket, I actually get far better support vs Amazon.co.uk ...presumably when raising a support ticket on the likes of Amazon.es or Amazon.de there are more staff per ticket (or perhaps it's quieter there due to the time difference etc!)
