how to find the real supplier

I want to begin a business on apperal .I have find some supplier but how can i distinguish who are the really factory supplier but not mid-merchant

If the business you want to do is international business,then I think the most important thing is to find out some reliable suppliers first of all.

Why is it important? if the supplies are what you need, at a price that is acceptable and at a cost you can live with, it shouldn't matter whether they are wholesaler or manufacturer; some manufacturer only supply wholesalers anyway, so unless you are planning to buy huge amounts and BECOME the wholesaler they may not deal with you.

You will find that if you are dealing with a manufacturer directly, they will expect large, bulk orders, whereas the wholesaler will accept smaller orders, which you needt o get your business started.

Factory or mid-merchant should be not the main point for you.

As you know many factory can not promise you the delivery time and goods quality.

If your supplier is a factory, you just need to confirm the factory is a reliable factory which can provide you the cargo on time and in good quality and also the factory will give you a good price.

If your supplier is a mid-merchant, you just need to find a reliable international sale-man and an acceptable price will be ok for you. The mid-merchant will push the delivery time and control the goods quality for you.
