Hi Guys

Im a UK startup business looking for nationwide telesales professionals that can work from home and sell my service.

Ive advertised on the Job Centre plus but where else do you think I can find these people?

Im offering a really good commission based package so I know that sellers will do well from it. Just about finding them :|

Thanks for your help

Whats the directory site?

Let me issue a small snippet of advice here.
Within the business directory market commision only agents simply do not work on the basis that they do not know the product well enough.

Telesales require a lenghty period to get leads in progress and can take weeks or even months and many telesales will not spend weeks or months chasing leads on a commision based role in which the profits are so small.

If you are a start up you wont be that busy get on the phone yourself as you know your product best and you know the answers to the questions.

Another reason against using commision only agents is that they will say what the person on the other end of the phone WANTS to hear to clinch the sale and this will result in sales that are flawed and dishonest and you will get a bad reputation because of it.

Take a step back and look at your own role and rather than trying to get rich too quick start small and build up the site.

Im sure the telesales big guns will agree about the commision only based problems and how do i know............

Because i did it when we started up a few years back :)

You can provide your service, nobody is better than you at this, do this.

You can sell your own services, but a good salesperson will generate more cash.

You can advertise on the Jobcentre site, but you might get a 'really mixed bag' of applicants.

Or you can use the right horses for the right courses:

Sales people sell, if your selling something, get real, you need them.

Job boards are job boards, pick the one that works for your industry and pay. If you have time to mess around with lack-luster workers and false starts then you really don't need more staff.

Have you considered using an outsource company to pick up these roles for you on a slightly different package?

With regards to using commission only sales agents or free lance both have potential however another option is using an outsourced contact centre.

With the infra-structure these places have and their telephony/dialler systems/compliance standards, training and experience you can deliver sustained growth.

You can do the deal for dialling any number of ways so the commercials stack up for you and obviously as you are the client dictate the trial length, size etc...

I no longer work in the outsource industry (Now involved in Pay Per Click Advertising, which is another way to grow your business) however I do know some businesses should you want pointing in the right direction.

Jump on targeted media website and my contact details are there.

Firstly, ask yourself if you would do your own adverised telesales work ? Well would you?...In a month of Sundays would you ?

101 "intenet based services" looking for '"professional" telesales staff advertise daily across PPH,Gumtree etc.

Very small take-up as mostly lousy offers all disguised as "easy sale'' etc. People just don't want to do this mind numbing cold calling stuff for peanuts.

"Telesales Professionals" as referred to by OP are a rare breed and most work at homers are complete amateurs and everyone loses when they get employed.

Professionals will be aiming far higher than cold telephone canvassing for "internet based services".

Dont be fooled by the amount of home based telesales recruitment ads there are as hardly anyone does this work and even fewer for more than the first week.

Hi,
Telesales employment is notoriously difficult to get right and has higher rates of staff attrition than most sales jobs.

Thanks

How true a statment this is..... I would also add its expensive.

I work with some trusted recruitment partners that know my business well and are constantly looking for canidates with the right experiance, skills and culture to fit in with my business.

Appointment the wrong telemarketeer wrong and it will end up costing you in wasted time, wages and effort. The difficultly in recruiting for these positions is there are a lot of people that think they can do this .... and they may well know just enough to BS some firms, but in reality they are not very skilled and will take a huge amount of specilist training to improve.

Coming back to the question, I would look at developing a relationship with recruitment firm as well as an online stratergy with jobsites with some limited local exposure.

Good Luck.
