how to calculate holiday pay

Hi there
Have googled this and found link from diect gov.

For a basic calculation of your leave allowance multiply the number of days you work a week by 5.6. For example, if you work a five day week you would be entitled to 28 days' annual leave a year:
5 days x 5.6 weeks = 28 days


So you are allowed 5.6 weeks holiday a year
And the above caluclation is how to work out how much you are entitled to for a whole year in question
But the thing is I never worked for them for a whole year 3 weeks in fact one day a week and I dont know how to do the calculatio for this

This is what I had done for them


week 18 1 day x 11.25hrs
week 19 1 day x 8 hrs
week 20 1 day x 10.5 hrs


dose anyoe kno how to work this one out please

1 day a week x 5.6 = 5.6, that's your annual allowance. Divide this by 52 and multiply by 3. That gives you 0.323 days holiday entitlement.

but the hours each day are different
how do i calculate the 0.323 days into hours

just so I can show them.
As my hourly rate was different on each day should I calculate per day

If that applies correctly of course based on 1 day per week!

have i got this right

5.6 /52 weeks per year = 0.108 x 11.25hrs = 1.212
5.6 /52 weeks per year = 0.108 x 8.00hrs = 0.862
5.6 /52 weeks per year = 0.108 x 10.5hrs = 1.131

Total of 3.205 hrs
