How much should we pay for someone to design and help write a newsletter?

We do a quarterly newsletter, and I think we are paying a lot for it at the moment. We use an outside agency to help us with it. We collect all the articles and photos for the newsletter, and the agency designs the newsletter, to make the articles fit, and also tweak the articles to make them more professional. It usually runs to 8-12 pages and there is a quiz on the last page which the agency prepare. A link to the previous newsletter is below:

What would you expect to pay for this?

Thanks for looking.

Our cost to produce an 11 page newsletter like this would be £240.

We would also send it to you as an Emag - included in the above cost.

I hope you don't mind but I have produced a quick demo of what the Emag version of your newsletter would look like. Click on the image below to view the Emag demo.

If you would like further information then please let me know.

There is a lot of artworking in that which a more elegant design could remove and make you look more professional - so you could pay less and look better...

however you also say that they tweak the articles for you, you don't say how many revisions take place, you don't say how you provide the information to them...

so it really could vary - a newsletter like that could be either end of the scale mentioned depending on those factors.
