How long is to long for a domain web address?

I have found 3 names I like for a new (should be high traffic) website, ranging from 10 to 15 letters long - excluding the .com or .co.uk on the end. The longest domain name is also the best descriptive name wise!

IMO Nothing wrong with long domain names if they are easy to remember and spell.

15 characters is not long!

Those don't sound like they are too long Steve, and I'd just ensure they are easily spelt for the average reader.

Easy remembered, easy spelt, and nothing too confusing...and you'll be fine.

I have a double 'C' in the middle of my main domain name (ComspecComputers) and it's amazing the number of people who forget to put it in...hence I always use some capitals in any printed docs etc.
